Maria sees Gianluca in front of her house, telling her he wants to run away to avoid the trial. Guido and Carlotta are increasingly at odds, and they argue again during dinner. Guido goes to a friend's house, who introduces him to two girls, and the next morning, the doctor wakes up drunk next to one of them.
