LUNG and CHANG are doing two experiments respectively – LUNG is making a copper wire to see if it is possible to generate electricity from lightning flashes while CHANG is looking into the likelihood of turning sulphur into sulphuric acid. JING is encouraged by SZE and is getting more and more eager to introduce political reforms. LUI does not support him, nevertheless, making him very upset. JING and a eunuch get out of the Palace to chill out, during which they have a quibble with YUNG.
