CHING (Priscilla Wong) attends social events to meet wealthy people in every way possible, vying to marry into money. Serendipitously, she gets to know the richest man in town, ROGER (Raymond Wong), with the help of her loyal friend FAI (Pakho Chau). ROGER recruits CHING to work for him, which gradually estranges her from FAI. When ROGER starts courting CHING, FAI endures hardships to help CHING's father pay off his debt.
