Season 1 Episode 4: Chapter IV: "The Color Life of Roses"

The last episode of the first season starts in 1828 with the murder of Manuel Dorrego during the first coup d'etat in Argentina, at the hands of Juan Lavalle. It ends with the Battle of Caseros of 1852, in which Justo José de Urquiza defeats Juan Manuel de Rosas and takes over the mandate. Main topics: Dorrego Fusilamiento Unitary and Federal Juan Manuel de Rosas Caseros (1852) and the suicide of the radical leader Leandro N. Alem, in 1896, giving main attention to characters such as Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and Julio Argentino Roca, and events such as the War of the Triple Alliance and the Conquest of the Desert.
