Lu Zhishen revealed his past tragedy and vengeance, urging Lin Chong to stay, but Lin Chong chose to return to Liangshan. Meanwhile in Jiangzhou, Song Jiang lived freely despite his exile, yet felt deeply conflicted. Drinking alone, he reflected on his unfulfilled ambitions, lost direction, and uncertain reputation, torn between sorrow, hope, and restless longing as intoxication clouded his mind.
