TOMMY, PING’s new boyfriend, visits her at her place. TOMMY is a badminton coach. He challenges JAMES to a badminton game; the latter accepts the challenge instantly. JAMES cannot make it in the end because of work. According to LAM’s observation, the person who is most disappointed by the cancellation of the game is not TOMMY but PING, who wants to see the two men competing for her. JAMES asks LAM to invite PING to dinner on their 8th anniversary. PING brings TOMMY along to the dinner. She kisses TOMMY in front of JAMES to irritate him. JAMES is struck dumb.
