WEI SUM brings her mother-in-law YAU MEI from the monastery to stay at her home for several days. She finds that YAU MEI is still very upset about the where about of her second son CHEUNG CHUN. She therefore begs KIU CHING to fulfil YAU MEI's hope of seeing her son again before she passes away. The story is that YAU MEI has had no son of her own. She has adopted KIU CHING as his own son. She has made her little maid AH LAN as second wife of her husband. Later on, AN LAN has given birth to SHEK CHEUNG CHUN so both the mother and son are greatly spoilt whilst YAU MEI and KIU CHING are badly treated. That is why the relationship between KIU CHING and CHEUNG CHUN is so very much destroyed. In the 60's, CHEUNG CHUN, his mother, GEl ZEE and CHAI KIU CHING were fleeing to Hong Kong by boat. Their boat had an accident in the rough seas. CHEUNG CHUN's mother and GEl ZEE lost their way and were out of touch.… ...
