In 2019, the French gave five billion euros to charities. And companies have understood the importance of this for their image. Their donations to NGOs are constantly increasing: 3.5 billion euros this year. But this generosity of large groups may have a hidden side. "Cash Investigation" has discovered that in order to conquer this manna, some associations sometimes forget their missions. Misuse of donors' money, conflicts of interest, lack of calls for tender, the malfunctions are numerous. Yet there is a label, Don en confiance, which is supposed to control them. But there is often a gap between the promise and the reality.
