Companhias do Teatro Brasileiro

Season 1 Episode 10: Teatro Ipanema

A theater of youth and peaceful resistance to the country's political climate in the 1970s—that was Teatro Ipanema. Born in the backyard of a house, it brought together key figures of young Brazilian playwriting, driven by an experimental approach to language, text, and physical expression.
