Season 1 Episode 6: The Horror Of Forgotten Island

A long time ago, a friendly alien race deposited a gigantic Cyclops on an uninhabited island for unknown reasons (the creature actually resembled a one-eyed cross between a human being and a crustacean, rather than the much more humanoid Cyclopes of Greco-Roman mythology), but they constructed a force field around the entire island to protect the people of Earth from the creature. However, the force field is accidentally de-activated during a freak magnetic storm, and the Calico docks on the island to repair damages that occurred during the storm. The force field soon re-activates, and the crew find themselves trapped on the island and menaced by the Cyclops. Although they call Godzilla, the King of the Monsters is unable to penetrate the force field to come to the crew's rescue. Dr. Darian discovers a stone monolith on the island that controls the force field, and she de-activates it, thus allowing Godzilla to enter the island and battle the Cyclops.
