Meanwhile, Reshmi, feeling sidelined, is made Chairperson and told by the Home Minister to bide her time. In a radio interview, Julie reveals her tragic past—eloping with Ismail, who was killed, before she was sold into prostitution. She bonds with Soumik, training his daughter, while Reshmi and Sidhwani quietly plot her fall.
