HUI LAP YAN is the supervisor of the debt department in Lee Tung where LAU KAI TAI and LAI KA KUEI are his subordinates. LAP YAN is very aggressive in dunning for debt and often performs his duties desperately and inconsiderately. Both TAI and KUEI are afraid of him with respect. Whereas, VAN's boss CHOW CHUN HON appreciates him very much and intends to promote him to the post of manager. LAP YAN has a wife called WAI YIN. She takes care of LAP YAN and the family. Apart from this, she is not interested in other matters. LAP YAN sometimes despises her for over-isolated from the society. KA KUEI has a girl-friend called JENNY. JENNY has a greedy and vanity mind. In fact, KA KUEI does not love her but KA KUEI's grandmother likes JENNY very much and often forces KA KUEI to date with her. WAI YIN meets her old friend CHEUNG SIU MUN. SIU MUN invites YIN to work as volunteer social worker in the community centre……
