Sunderland meet Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby at the Stadium of Light, with the Black Cats desperate for points after a wretched start to the season. Tottenham's form has been encouraging so far in this campaign, and the London side were aiming to rack up another three points against newly-promoted Hull City. The day's other fixture pits Swansea against West Ham at the Liberty Stadium.
