Yi Zimo, once controlled by his parents, meets Wu Xiu and is inspired to rebel, changing his name to Ren Zhan and leaving to study abroad. Determined to correct the mistakes of the past, Ren Zhan helps her regain her lost memories, rekindling a love they both missed out on.
