SUN-FUNG is eager to save LING HOI and alter destiny, but has no idea how to do it. Taking advantage of the ancestral worship ceremony, SUN-FUNG tells all the police officers to go on standby at the ancestral hall by using the excuse of having free food. TING-MING does not show up because he is otherwise occupied. It turns out that CHI-TING has been following him, above which she even spots him meeting up with HAU-YUET.
