Shivram tells Gangadhar that Laxmibai is responsible for his daughter losing her respect. Moropant tells Gangadhar that he accepts his fault and is ready for any punishment. Moropant pleads to Gangadhar not to accuse Laxmibai of anything. Laxmibai tells the court that Chimnabai is her friend. Laxmibai tells Gangadhar that she had sent a letter to her father and it is her proof. But that letter was taken by Jankibais servant. Shivram pleads for justice. Motibai comes to the court and tries to tell the truth about Chimnabai. She is about to tell the truth of how Gangadhar was saved. Laxmibai intervenes and tells that Chimnabai had unveiled the conspiracy hatched by Lacho. Aaishri wants a witness who can testify for Chimnabai. At that moment, someone comes forth as a witness.
