Laxmibai gets angry that Gangadhar led her to believe that he was getting married. Gangadhar apologises to Laxmibai. Nanasaheb tells Laxmibai that Gangadhar had gone to Kanpur to meet Lord Dalhousie to get Samar Singh pardoned. Laxmibai realizes her mistake. Indu tells Laxmibai to win Gangadhar's heart with her beauty. Laxmibai dresses in all her finery. Gangadhar is mesmerized by Laxmibai's beauty. Gangadhar declares in the court that all administrative powers are given back to Laxmibai.
