Jankibai and Nelson rejoice the fact that Laxmibai and Gangadhar are distressed. Hirabai tells Laxmibai that just feeling sad will not help her. Hirabai takes Laxmibai to an astrologer to find out if Jhansi will get an heir in near future.The astrologer tells Hirabai that according Laxmibai's horoscope, she may die at a young age and may not beget an heir. Laxmibai is distraught that she will not be able to bear a child. Laxmibai sees an untrained horse and in her fury, she climbs the horse and gallops away. Gangadhar is worried and follows Laxmibai. Gangadhar finds Laxmibai and stops her. Gangadhar makes her understand that he loves her. Hirabai tells Laxmibai that there is another way to give Jhansi an heir. She tells Laxmibai to find another wife for Gangadhar who will give him an heir.
