On Kashi's refusal, he slashes her throat. Rao Dulhajo opens the Orchha gate. A bloody war ensues, and the people are taken into the palace. Kali takes Kashi to the safety of the palace. Chimna Bai is worried for Moropant. Laxmi Bai tries to stop Rao Dulhajo, who opens the other gates of Jhansi. Laxmi Bai faces Rose and his army alone.
