Shwetambara comes to the palace to meet Gangadhar. She also brings along a painting that she made of him, which impresses him. Moti Bai is angry when she finds out that Gangadhar is going to marry a princess. When she confronts him, he tells her that he cannot make a prostitute the queen of Jhansi.
