With the ash given by Manu, Tatya Tope continues his journey to meet Gangadhar. On seeing Gangadhar's deteriorating health, Moti feels guilty and decides to dance in her chamber until he gets better. The decision of giving Manu the guard of honour and helping her in her marriage angers Manson. A pandit in the temple informs Manu and Vahini about another way to help Gangadhar get better. Manu starts the task told by the Pandit. Moti Bai dances on glass shards for Gangadhar.
