At the doctor’s office, Lou unexpectedly runs into Jess-an encounter with unforeseen consequences. Jess’s life is in ruins: Patrick has ended their relationship and left her packed suitcases on her doorstep. Gisela takes her in, and Valerie also offers her comfort. Toni and Noah realize that their love has no future and break up for good. While Carla is excited about her new kitchen, Britta is sad about moving out.
