Svenja tries to convince Mika and herself that Arthur’s declaration of love means nothing to her. But she realizes she’s lying to herself, and she breaks up with Mika. Now Victoria fears that Svenja might challenge her control over Arthur and the grandchildren. Therefore, Victoria’s first official act as hotel manager is to fire Svenja. Bella hopes that Elyas will finally clear out the laundry after the confrontation with the police. Elyas briefly considers giving up, but then, in a rage, barricades himself in the laundry. Britta is worried about Heiner. When she hears that he’s traveling to visit friends, she thinks Heiner is over the breakup. But Toni makes it clear to her: Heiner is only traveling to suppress his heartbreak. Gunter is persuaded by David’s words, hands over the hotels to Victoria, and gets rid of his stored furniture. When David sees how attached Gunter is to the pieces, he secretly buys them back at auction to make his father happy.
