Until she encounters a ghost there. Noah reacts with incomprehension to Toni’s spontaneous resignation from the hospital-just to go on vacation with him. Only after Valerie unwittingly points out that Toni’s resignation is proof of her love for him does Noah apologize to Toni, full of affection.
