Rosemary Cartland invites herself round to welcome Arthur home. The family is disturbed by Arthur's odd demeanor upon his arrival. Alice finds Phyllis' trip with Jack Poole fascinating, though Arthur is not as understanding. Arthur refuses to greet Rosemary.
