Chia-ming meets Ma Yung and persuades him to stop his business to avoid further conflicts between himself and Ma Yung. Ma Yung is troubled by his conflicting thoughts. Chia-ming meets Hsiao-ya by chance. The two of them tell each other the happenings since they left each other. Chia-ming feels that he still has a chance with Hsiao-ya and is very happy. He starts dating Hsiao-ya. Mei-li is again expecting. Ma Yung is very happy, but for safety sake, he suggests to Yung-slang he wants to quit. Yung-siangknows that Ma Yung is influenced by Chia-ming he asks to see Chia-ming, while trying to persuade him he learns the whereabouts of Hsiao-ya. Yung-slang goes to see Hsiao-ya. Hsiao-ya still remembers the past and refuses to forgive Yung-slang, asking him to leave. She blames Chia-ming for meddling in other people's business. Chia-ming apologizes to Hsiao-ya and discovers that Hsiao-ya stil loves Chen Hua.… ...
