Siu Mei explains everything to Pui Yee and Yee Kan. She even comes up with an idea to videotape her speech for Fong Ling. Chung waits till midnight for Fong Ling with the tape, eagerly hoping that she would be convinced now of his innocence. When Fong Ling still speaks with the same harshness after viewing the tape, Chung is greatly hurt. Mixed with anger and despair, he suggests a divorce.
