After losing her family, Meryem, who had been living a quiet life in the village with her mother's cousin Cinna, had grown accustomed to being called "ugly" for years. But Meryem, who had admired Cinna's son, Kadir, since childhood, suddenly finds her world turned upside down by an unexpected marriage proposal from Kadir. Cinna, domineering and strict, reacts harshly to Kadir's move, and Meryem also suffers the consequences of her anger. Meanwhile, Kadir is forced to manage the business of Okesh Kartas, whom he considers both his boss and father, while maintaining his relationship with Kartas's daughter, Lale.
