The bluebird SZE LOI-FUNG was Princess LAT KA of Kuche State. She was cursed and she turned into a bird when Guanyin rescued her. Since then, she has been staying with the Crown Prince of Song. When General CHAN and General WONG offer the sword to the Crown Prince for a practice session, SONG TAK and his son SONG LIT arrive. SONG LIT wants to have a contest with the Crown Prince but TUEN FUNG-SAM stops them. The Crown Prince and FUNG-SAM disguise themselves so that they could discuss the political matters by the lake. The Tortoise Devil KAU TSIN-SHUI and his apprentice Carp discover that FUNG-SAM is a woman. FUNG-SAM's twin sister TUEN SO-SZE has disguised herself as her brother FUNG-SAM. The real FUNG-SAM has gone to Liao Kingdom and he changed his name to TUEN SHUI so that he could investigate if SONG TAK has colluded with Liao Kingdom. SO-SZE goes out in her real identity……
