“If same-sex marriage doesn’t happen… marry someone of the opposite sex who betrayed you.” Airi (Kitano Ruka) and Yuki (Hinoi Asuka) have been living together for 10 years, dreaming of same-sex marriage. But Yuki betrays Airi by marrying her childhood friend! It turns out they registered their marriage to reassure her grandmother, who had only a short time left to live. Unable to accept this, Airi turns to Hajime and Kai. “Same-sex marriage isn’t recognized, but does that mean a 10-year common-law relationship loses to a marriage that lasted only two months?
